Forever...
I guess it has been awhile since I have been on long enough to post something.
Well the flood waters never did make it to our house so we were safe there, but they say it is the worst flood our town has ever seen. There were two deaths: one drowned and the other had a heartattack while sandbagging, there are business that still have not been able to reopen, and a lot of homes that were destroyed. It just amazes me how quickly water can rise and then before you know it is back in its banks.
I have been sick now for almost 2 weeks, so I haven't been getting on here very often. Did go to the doctor and he put me on some antibiotics, but they don't really seem to be helping. Now the oldest is sick and I think that he may have strep...yeah...funtimes ahead.
Today is Ryan's 11th birthday..it just amazes me how quickly time flies. We are going to have family over this weekend for dinner and cake. Next week we leave to go to my sisters in Illinois and then we will have a big family celebration because her sons birthday is friday, so we are going to Chuck E. Cheeses...what fun that will be!! haha
Well since I am stuck home all day I should try to be productive..maybe I'll clean the living room and get the Halloween decorations up..who knows...later.
