100 Things about me..hopefully!!
I see others do this all the time so I thought I would give it a try:
1. I was born in a small town in Minnesota
2. I still live there
3. I am the baby of the family
4. I have to older sisters
5. I have always gotten along great with my oldest sister even though there is 6 years between
us
6. Up until about a year ago I didn't really care much for my middle sister
7. Since then she has quit treating me like a baby and realized that I am an equal
8. I have a great family
9. I met my husband through mutual friends
10. I stood him up for our first date (he should of ran while he could)
11. I sometimes wonder how he puts up with me
12. I got pregnant with our first son after only 3 months of dating
13. I had our first beautiful (but big) baby boy in 1992
14. He is almost a teenager and some days....
15. My mother passed away from cancer 2 months after my son was born
16. She was beautiful person and the rock of our foundation
17. Since she passed her family doesn't speak to us
18. I got married in August of 1992 and didn't tell my dad we were going to until the night
before
19. We got married at the courthouse and the hubby went to work for the night right after
20. My dad remarried a little over a year after she passed
21. Didn't really care for the woman
22. We had our second son in 1993 when the oldest was 18 months old
23. We moved 8 times in the first 5 years together
24. We had our daughter in 1995...what a shocker to hear it was a girl
25. The boys use to adore there sister
26. When she was old enough to be in a walker she would run after the boys and trap them
27. I should have known what that meant for the future
28. She is a little boy crazy
29. This makes me crazy!!
30. My dad married again to a ho
31. Didn't last long and she screwed him
32. It was hard to support him through this one
33. I really do love my dad
34. My dad has a rare disease
35. I am very protective of my dad
36. I have learned to speak up to him when something bothers me though
37. I am the only one living in town and have had to take care of him somewhat with his
medical stuff
38. I always knew when something was up
39. My sister would always try to pay me for taking time off for him
40. This was appreciated...but never let her
41. My dad was going to move by my sister in Illinois
42. I was kind of liking that idea so I wouldn't always be the one taking care of him
43. I felt awful for feeling that way
44. I was burnt out at the time with everything in life
45. My oldest loves basketball
46. The hubby and I are not huge sports fans
47. So I don't totally understand stuff about the sports he enjoys
48. My dad coached hockey and baseball and I still am not big on sports
49. I still have a hard time watching home movies with my mom in them
50. Even after 12 years
51. She died from Malinoma cancer
52. She did an interview with the TV station about this
53. She was very couragious during this time
54. My middle son loves sports that are extremely physical
55. He wants to be a boxer or pro wrestler
56. I am so proud of him for the last one
57. My daughter wants to be in dance or gymnastics
58. She can do the chinese splits perfectly
59. It is kind of gross to watch
60. This is not so easy to come up with stuff
61. I only have 12 credits left to receive my 2 year degree
62. Oops...had a baby and never finished
63. My niece and great niece moved in with my dad a year ago
64. It is comforting to me to have someone around for him
65. My niece is trying to talk me into going back to school
66. The local college does offer online classes..but...
67. I adore my great niece
68. She is a monster though
69. She adores my dad
70. My sister was a grandma at 36
71. My dad was a great grandpa at 60
72. I think they both were very young for that
73. We watch the great niece on saturday mornings while my niece works
74. You forget what an almost 3 year old can do to your house
75. My daughter is a slob
76. I am an organizing freak
77. Actually I have quite a few hang ups
78. I am no longer in denial about this
79. My best friend recently moved to California
80. This was very hard for me
81. She is the only one I have stayed close with from high school
82. We have been best friends since we were 12
83. That means we have been best friends for 21 years
84. Oh my gosh we are old!
85. My kids are in grades 7, 5, & 4 this year
86. Where does the time go
87. We go tomorrow for pictures and conferences before school starts
88. I can't wait for Wednesday...SCHOOL STARTS
89. I work in a workshop for the physically and mentally disabled
90. I have worked there for 15 years
91. I have had 4 different positions while there
92. I went from cleaning toilets to billing for the consumers services
93. I worked with the severe and profound disabled and loved it
94. I still love to go visit these consumers when I get a chance
95. I'm almost done
96. I enjoy my kids' ages
97. Not there attitudes
98. It is so much more fun to do family activities now that they can enjoy it as well
99. I am all about making memories that will last forever
100. I live an extremely boring life
And I am done...I can't believe I actually came up with all of that..Yea!!
